Swan hunting

I drew a tag in 08 and it was really fun. We hunted Freezout Lakes in Montana and the hunt took 30 minutes. We had two fly over us on our way back to the truck to get the boat out and in one shot it was over. A very exciting waterfowl hunt. Where is your tag good for?

I drew a permit in '06, my little brother drew a permit in '08. We both killed swans. You usually won't start to see the swans until the first part of November, and when you do start to see them, you will see lots. Very decoy-able birds.
