Swarovision?

Just wondering what year Swarovski came out with Swarovision. I've got a guy selling binoculars that he says are Swarovision but they are 2 years old.

I've worked with the company doing their TV show the last couple years. I'm fairly sure it definitely only been out year and a half, maybe 2. What model is it? Its a general term for models with the new field flattener lens. Only the new style EL has it I believe.

The oldest press release I see on their website was November 2009. There was much ado about them in spring 2010 when I bought my ELs. I didn't go with the swarovisions, but they were a new option at the time.

If you really want to know ask for the serial number then call Swarovski. They will give you the straight facts. You can also make sure the warranty is transferable.

I think you can also tell by the lens diameter being larger on the new ones.
