Its not my first time and it won't be my last, ha ha. Its years like this that make me really appreciate the outdoors and just being able to enjoy the sport of hunting. Looking forward to helping my many friends on thier hunts and already making plans for next year! Goodluck to all, fatrooster.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-23-08 AT 10:31AM (MST)[p]I found my honey hole!! I have never seen so meny nice bucks in my life. just could not make it happen.

Drew,

Mine is more like tag stew, cuz I had to throw in an extra tag. Wife misplaced my tag the day before I left, so I had to buy a copy... Got home and found the original, now I have two tags to eat.

The trip was still worthy though. I have a lot of memories, experiences, and lesson's learned of what not to do next time.

Moreover, I have a great honeyhole I look forward to going back to. My hunt'n partner and I had a great trip. Minus my pack weighing in at approx. 60-65 lbs after adding my muzzy accessories. But we got to experience some spectacular wildlife, and live homeless in the mountains for 6 days. Gotta love it. Even came home with some extra cash that I didn't spend... looking to buy me an over-under 12 gauge for the upcomming bird season :)

I have tag soup this year too. Not too bad though, because I had shots at three bucks that did not connect, so I can't be too mad. I did see some good bucks, but all the shots were at smaller ones. Season closes tomorrow, so I will get my questionairein before I forget it. I hunted area 10. One thing I did notice was that it was extremely hot this year. Yesterday it was 53 degrees when I left truck and got over 80 on Harrison Pass.

Wishing a good season to all those who have rifle tags.

Marcial
