i shoot the federal premium high energy with trophy bonded bear claws and i was wondering how these bullets perform. they shoot extremly well out of my rifle and i know they will kill a coues deer but how are they designed to work? i dont need to know ballastic coefficents or any of that stuff, just how its supposed to work. thanks in advance

Take a look at the expanded bullet on the link...don't know if this answers your question. I just know that 95% weight retention is excellent in regards to mushrooming the bullet for knockdown power and organ destruction. Sorry if I'm just stating the obvious, just wanted to take a stab at your question.
