Just wanted to drop a quick thank you to all of you that helped my son and I. I don't have any pictures but I'll give you the story.
Drove up to the Jemez with the temperature hanging around zero. Lots of snow up on top and lots of road hunters. We found a road that was not traveled due to deep snow. We hiked down the road about a mile and a half and cut some tracks. Decided to follow them and within 5 minutes we had caught up with them. A couple excited shots later and my son had his elk. Had a great time and are thankful for everyone that helped.
Tons of elk still in the valle grande on our way through btw.
Thanks again,
DayMan
