Really nice fish right there!
Ice off is definitely the perfect time to get after them big Macks.
I always do the best when I have to keep an eye out for and dodge large ice sheets.
Never have fished Flaming gorge but its on the list.

Holy cow them are some hogs. We've yet to really try for lakers. I've seen what others in town have caught and it's impressive to say the least. Got my first sockeye last year. Just haven't caught onto those cold water fish yet.
