And don't you liberals dare come back with a bunch of tough talk....and well Bush hasn't done anything.....look at McCain?s stances.... Without your political correctness, ACLU buddies, activist Judges, threats of lawsuits, etc we wouldn't be handcuffed and shackled in dealing with such issues. Two border agents in prison lives ruined after some gunplay with a drug runner.....they should be getting medals....another agent recently run over and killed by an invader... they gave the murderer back to Mexico. I'm sure there are countless lawsuits against the Border Control agents from activist groups. The Border Control is having recruitment issues for what is already a very tough and dangerous job. Another mess at the feet of the liberals.....but you are too dense to see it is the stage you and you freak show have set in this country for disasters like this.

The case of the wrongfully convicted border patrol agents is a travesty in the least. No wonder new BP agents are harder to come by.
Here in South Texas most of the newspapers are now referring to illegals as "unauthorized migrants". GMAFB! They also are crying that the illegals or "unauthorized" are not able to send as much money back home, due to the downturn in our economy. Some of them are worried that their families will have a hard time surviving back in Mexico things do not get better quickly over here. Some have resorted to , get this, actually going back to Mexico to work local farms. Some of these reporters and left wing libs are wanting the U.S. to bail out these ILLEGALS financially. Makes me want to puke. Our country's citizens should come FIRST.

What's Bush done? look at McCains stances.

Yes this is all the democrats fault, you're dumber than I thought. don't worry if McBush is elected we won't have any illegals left in this country, they'll all be voting US citizens. for a small fee of course.

isn't that bahamas stance also....who wins?

Huntindork,

I never mentioned Bush, he has been crap in regards to the border issues. Also, I said some of the left wing libs and reporters, not all democraps( just most of them). McCain's policies may not be any better than Bush but he'll damn sure be better than the great appeaser and messiah. Go take another drag off your lib koolaid/firewater, maybe you'll get a moment of actual mental clarity.

Okay Mr Potato head. My fault.... there I was talking over your head again and for that I appoligize. I know concepts are hard for you to grasp if they don't come on a bumper sticker. Read my initial post again there is a concept in there. Hmmm did'nt get it first time better give a big hint. Your liberal freak show has set the stage for the last 40 years....read it again real slow and take notes!!!!!!

Soooooo, making them voting citizens now is less important than what somebody did in between republican administrations who did nothing before?.... otay.

Yes, McCain wants to charge them a fee and put them at the front of the line to become citizens. Obama, well who knows what Obama wants, but he has said they would be at the back of the line.

In any case your nut shell blame game isn't near as hard to follow as you'd like to think it is. through 8 years of Reagan and 12 years of the Bush's I think it's clear the blame is under all the shells. good try though.

"Ricardo Alday, a spokesman at the Mexican Embassy in Washington, told the Times on Tuesday: ?Law enforcement operations have led, from time to time, to innocent incursions by both U.S. and Mexican law enforcement personnel and military units into the territory of both nations? "

If that's true, that means not only is there not a fence along the border, it probably means there isn't even a paint line drawn in the sand in a lot of places.

"The General Accounting Office estimates that $23 billion in illegal drugs flow across the border each year."

That's why there will be no fence. It has nothing to do with liberals or conservatives.

But Pres. Bush says we're making headway. Our government thinks we're stupid. That's because we are.

Dupe you didn't take notes!!!!! Again with you bumper sticker mentality you only see the proverbial tip of the iceberg. With any large issue there are numerous complex layers. Read my initial post again I am not going to continue to repeat myself because you are too dense to grasp concepts. It is the political correctness poison that has a life of its own? That is you final hint'see of you can respond intelligently? I have been a little worried about you lately?.you seem?..a little frantic?

Eel, now we are taking the word of the Mexican spokesman as a fact? He was carefully selected to spin and make the invasion seem less of a threat that it is. That is his job. Seriously there is tons of stuff out there on how they are constantly pushing the envelope...probing and testing...seeing what our reactions will be. That is what invaders do....

This problem has been in the making for many years. The blame can be spread around to both parties and any of us who have been complacent on it. Anyone who hires an illegal is part of the problem and that knows no party lines. For sure liberal groups make it difficult but that could have been over come if any of the past and present administrations gave a damm.
It looks like the Bush Adminstration will turn it's back on the Mexican Troop violation of our territory. What a suprise.
Fall elections are coming up and we will vote in another president and congress that won't do a thing to stop this problem. The buck really stops with each one of us and we will come up short once again. This is my opinion and I'm sticking with it.

Ransom I mostly agree with you. The point I am trying to make is the liberals have set the stage where it makes it almost impossible to deal with this effetively. That stage has been set slowly. In WW2 we took care of business and appoligized to no one. We are a loooooongway from the country that had Japensese internment camps. I do not mention that because I want to get into the merits of those camps but to make a point on the way we have lost of way to act effectively because of the stage set by the liberals. Read my above posts with this thought in mind if you want to understand more what I am trying to say.

I do agree with you. I just wanted it said that we have brought this on ourselves. And the libs are making it almost impossible to take care of the problem. I just don't expect any solution in the upcoming election.

"Here in South Texas most of the newspapers are now referring to illegals as "unauthorized migrants". GMAFB!"

Give me a break for sure....... Next we'll be calling the drug runners unlicensed pharmacists...... Terry

Fictionwriter you're blaming everyone exept the conservatives and yourself for a clearly bipartisan problem.

You think you're the Riddler or something? you're not sharp enough to play that game, just say it's all the dems fault and leave it at that.

Why didn't your hero's in congress between 2000-20006 go along with Bush and his worker visa program? this was Bush's best idea ever and he couldn't even get it through his own party. 90% of the illegals that came in on Bush's watch would be legal migrant workers today rather than year round baby factories living off the public services. give us your kool aid gang excuse for that one.... wait don't tell me, it's the dems fault.

If you were half as smart as you think you are you'd already be supreme leader and have the liberals exterminated by now, what gives? all the answers but no action, I have a couple pipe changers just like you.

Dude

He's right about liberal groups making it hard to turn this problem around. But once again I'll say It's all our faults for this problem, either by working them or electing officials who allow this to go on or by supporting groups who defend this.
No administration has done much in the way to stop it. I don't see anything about to change in the upcoming election either.

The Libs know if they can help them with all the social give away programs they'll have their vote so they can force there ideology on us and continue to brain wash the younger generation in beleiving the goverment is the answer to all the problems we face today.

The Conservatives enjoy keeping their lawns nicely groomed. They do a darn good job at a cheap wage.

The problem aint going anywhere any time soon.

Dupe, me as Supreme Leader?.gosh darn buddy you're making me blush.

And no I don't think I am the Riddler, last I checked he made his bones playing a gay cowboy and other twisted characters finally in his lost Hollywood liberal fog overdosed and has now ended up some sort of far left icon. Just wait your new Hollywood hero Heath will win best supporting actor for his Batman role. The left loooooves to immortalize such ?tormented? characters.

I am not blaming everyone except the conservatives?.I am blaming the liberals. Have the conservatives been caught in this s**t storm yep?.but you intentionally keep missing my points (see I just gave you some credit), or you just are missing them. I am getting tired of repeating myself.

As I said before McCain is no hero of mine but he is light years ahead of Obama.

I have never intentionally, knowingly paid a cent to an illegal. Can you say the same???? So don't continue to complain the stray dogs are begging at your back door and slinging litters of pups in the yard when you continue to feed them. Just wait for them to start biting the hand that feeds them harder and harder. It is clearly already happening.

Before selling my house and property I had a mountain of work to do. It would have been easy to get some invaders to help?.but I opted for 18 hours days and keeping my personal principles intact.

All answers and no action??? I do wish I could openly speak of my work but I can't and won't?.all I can say is you are deeply wrong again. Simple as that.

I rarely get into political battles because frankly it doesn't mean squat.

most of the people in our government are there for their own agenda. Power, money and self-glorification.

I hate to see what will happen with Barack Hussein Obama as our united states president?????????? What are his real motives???? Why in the hell would anyone want to be President???? Scary, this guy is flat out scary. On the flip side, the only thing I like about McCain is he has been in war and I'm hoping will have the guts to do what needs to be done and not pander to the media in order to be liked.

Why do we put all the blame on the President? Why is it Bush's fault that Social Security is out of money? Maybe it was a good idea at the time, I wasn't around during the depression. But I'll be dammed if I am going to collect any whether it's there or not, I'm taking care of MY future, I'm not banking on the government to do it for me. This is AMERICA, the land of opportunity, not the land of the free handouts, you want free handouts move to a socialist country, not a capitalist one. Why is it Bush's fault gas is over $4/gal? Does he have full control over the world's oil reserves and the manufacturing of it? Why is it Bush's fault that the border isn't secure? Mexicans have been crossing that border ever since it was a border, the problem lies with the food stamps, free health care, and lost jobs.

My personal opinion is our government is way to corrupt to clean up. Tell me that Obama and McCain are the 2 best people our country has produced to become the next president. The only good I see coming out of an economic hard time is a few people will realize their future is in their hands, time to read books, store food, pay off debt, save money, make smart investments and quit complaining that the President has screwed you over. If we all take care of our problems, and provide for ourselves without the help of the government, that's when things will change for the better.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-12-08 AT 00:19AM (MST)[p]Those darn Mexicans ugh! What will we do? Who should we blame? To think that they still exist in the United States after we conquered parts of their northern border.

It angers me that they come here illegally just because what few manufacturing jobs they had were off-shored, we have a large shared unprotected border, their economy/personal future sucks, and they can make 10 times more in annual salary here than in Mexico. Yep, no doubt illegal immigrants suck.

The real insult about those darn Mexicans, they speak another language, not even their own language but a language from Spain. Does Spain even exist? No Really! That is to say I don't know any Spaniards, I don't know anybody that knows any Spaniards. What in THE hell is that all about?

The solution to this issue is simple...buy Mexican products physically made in Mexico. I know this idea may seem right off the map to many, but it is a simple fact. There are more millionaires in Mexico per capita than there are in the United States. We just don't see those Mexicans standing around the outside edge of the local Home Depot parking lot.

If you think the gap between rich and poor in this country is outta whack, Mexico is 10 times deeper in economic disparity.

Why the recent influx of so many illegals just in the last 12 years? Well, it can all be tied directly to the Clinton Administration and NAFTA accompanied by rising overhead costs to employers, an ever-shrinking dollar, and corporate interests which sways politician to vote down border security funding.

It surprises me that political pundits have not hammered that point relentlessly against the dems during this election, but it's probably because Hillary did not win the nomination. And most American's don't really understand the why's or the how's when it comes to NAFTA.

Due to NAFTA's lack of enforcement of a level global playing field as was initially intended. We now have a major global immigration problem. Here at home we have always had problems with our northern and southern borders, but not the heavy influx that we have seen in the last decade or so. The fact is that a majority of manufacturing plants that did exist in Mexico were off-shored to China a decade ago.

Meanwhile, Guatemalans have entered illegally into Mexico and currently make up a large proportion of the agricultural and low wage unskilled jobs. Unlike our age demographic 80% of the Mexican population are ages 18-30.

What we are seeing are plain and simple economic refugees with a few nefariouos characters thrown into the mix. Canada our neighbors to the north have a very stable economy, as such we do not the same problems with them as in the South. The big question is why should we support China instead of our southern neighbors Mexico?

If illegal immigration was costing business instead of increasing profits, we would see border action immediately. What does that tell you about our government and who really controls policy? Just follow the money...........

I say restore the Mexican economy, document the undocumented and in a decade we could reduce border crossings by 90%. As for the prison population, well let's leave that for another post.

I recently bought a short block motor, sold by GM, produced in Mexico "Hecho en Mexico" stamped right on the block. I figured both places could use the money.

Or just keep shopping at Walmart, don't buy Hecho en Mexico goods, keep borrowing huge sums of money from the Chinese, let your government abide by a flawed and unenforceable economic agreement, and keep complaining about the problem. Corporate America like Kraft Meat Packing Co., Computer/Home Appliance Manufaturers, Restaurant Industries, Lawn/Garden Industries, Agri-business, Construction Industries, and others will absolutely love you for it. Entiendes Amigo?

Those darn illegal Mexicans! Day ar all bery bery bad! Unless you own stock in the #1 purchasor of tomatos in the world like Taco Bell, 2 Tacos and a medium sized drink only .99 cents! Then those illegal Mexicans are bery bery good!

I like writing long posts...............ZZZZzzzzzZZZZZzzzzzz

If you think all the illegal labor is gardeners and pickers you are wrong. Fast food restaurants are pouring a ton of money into a low blow mailing campaign targeting the legislator who got our employer sanctions law passed. It is all about money and the political leaders who are taking their share in contributions. I own a business and next door is a large landscaping company with all illegals working there. My employees are Romanian and Mexican-American so I know from them about the status as the landscaping people sometimes ask my guys to get me to fax or copy something. I was asked to fax a hospital bill last week for one of them who had a 7 hour emergency surgery for an infection in his gall bladder, pancreas and liver. The bill was over $45000 and he was applying for ACCES to pay for his medical. How can an illegal be getting welfare and free medical? I am not saying he should have died but if that is only one example then we cannot earn enough money to pay the load that is coming to support these people for free. McDonalds is making money but we are losing big time.
