Unbelievable! I admire Riley Gaines for taking a stand on this.

It’s Fing insane and goes against the most basic idea of fair competition in sports.
It looks like the sport of swimming has addressed it so it won’t happen at high levels of competition. Hope all sports adopt rules to prevent it because it’s absolute BS.
Thomas didn’t start this up for love of the sport or competition, it was strictly to shake things up. He could have completed in the men’s category in a women’s suit, got his ass kicked, and not taken opportunity from multiple women.

This mindset is not new. In the 80s I was teaching a physiology class at CSU and got to know all the students on a first name basis.
One girl (Beth) wore her 'earth first!' shirt to class one day. We talked briefly about that, and she gave what I would call the standard socialist answers. She also had a logo on her shirt which had a red circle with a line across it. In the middle of that logo was a picture drawing of a logger. I asked her what that was about. Again, the same type of answer. Then she said that her and her group were actively driving ceraminc spikes into trees. I asked her 'why ceramic?'. Her answer was so that any portable xray machines could not detect it. I then asked her what about that poor dude out trying to make a living for his family, or that dude just out cutting some wood for the winter.
Her reply was to indicate that that dude should 'just get another job while he can'.

It blows me away how we're caught up in this climate scam. I understand getting away from fossil fuels but not for the reasons that are being shoved down our throats. And certainly not at the pace that they insist on.
