Thieves caught red handed in salt lake county

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

These folks are caught. Let the criminal justice system take care of it now.

The rest of these tangent arguments are nothing more than what may have got these defendants in trouble themselves. People trying their hardest, and wasting time, trying to control other people.

I hope these two get enough flack from you guys that they have to leave Utah. No matter what happens in court. These trail cameras are a big problem. Here in Idaho we have trail cameras on every trail head, some are game and fish but most of them are defenders of wildlife who say they are watching for wolves. They are watching people going in and out, when a wolve is killed in a area it not to hard to go back through and figure out who is hunting them. I am not well liked by defenders and have told them I will be removing there trash from the forest. I go out in the woods for my peace of mind, not to be filmed by people I do not like or respect. I am to the point where you leave stuff on major trails it's trash.

RELH this things got legs. The guy who lost his stands has been interviewed by a ton of news outlets. Hes started his own podcast on ethics. People are planning demonstrations demanding these two be made an example of. Bowhunters of Utah facebook page has been talking about little else since the game cam vandalization and this tree stand incident. You and Vanilla are right there will be a plea deal. How generous a plea deal depends on what those legs were built for. This will be a marathon, not a sprint, as their attorney will drag this on hoping the public loses interest and runs out of steam. She being a city attorney warrants she be held to a higher standard for she knew what she was doing was wrong. They're pissed and if they're able to maintain the pressure the full 26.2 miles they'll get their felony conviction as these two so rightfully deserve.

Tikka,
At no time did I say it was right or legal for someone to take the tree stand. Try reading my note again and try to comprehend what is said.
My main question is to how legal & ethical it is/was to leave the tree stand on the public land.
Ethical is a big word here and we are finding out there are unethical people in the world. Some "hunters" included.

A camp I believe receives more protection under the law as it may be considered a domicile.

Bess.

I don't really care much about stands.

Cams are another whole ball of wax. They are just like the shed thing. Years ago a tiny fraction of dudes(not outfitters) ran cams. Few dudes actually shed hunted. Then shed hunting became an industry and there were dudes fishing lining trees, chasing herds, etc, etc.

With the cams, they are freaking everywhere. Cams watching cams. Now live stream cams. Outfitters run HUNDREDS of them. Dudes are literally fighting each other for cam spots.

Guess I missed how Montana is a socialist state for making them illegal after first hunts start.

Ya. Honest dudes get screwed. Honest dudes killed what they needed, but others made an industry so now we have game laws.

At some point the FS, or a judge WILL make the decision to stop every tree being cammed. Or stop stands in every tree. Not all hunters like them, how do you think hikers, bikers, skiers, atv, horsemen feel about it? It ain't a Tard issue. Arizona is fighting about it. Idaho too.

I hate the thought of a court in park city or slc getting to have a hand in any decision that affects hunters.

From the party of HUNTIN, FISHIN, PUBLIC LAND.

How about we get back to hunting, how about respecting other hunters in the field. I am teaching my daughters how to hunt, taking off at a trailhead in the dark and returning in the dark. Showing them how to track game, bedding areas, how to read the winds and how to judge a mature animal by its body size and shape not by horns. There is nothing on earth I like more than hunting a big mature animal on his terms one on one. I will turn 60 this year and I still love to hunt, but I am getting real tired of all the bs that goes with the new poster boy style of hunting. Like I said before I could care less about what happens to these two in court. They should be shamed out of Utah, it sounds like it's heading this away. Think about the trail cameras out in the woods do you really no who is watching you and why. If you lived through the wolf wars up in Idaho it was a very ugly time for a lot of people. Now most of the trail cams on trail heads are not hunters. I have removing this trash from the forest, it does not belong there. If one of you tech guys could make me a machine to locate cameras in the woods I would surely by it. I like the new technique of cameras watching cameras, remember it's all trash left by you.

sadly hawkbill....chances are good that someone will have pics of your daughters peeing....

Paid Leave?

JFP!

That Tell you anything?

I know so many people in so many places
They make allot of money but they got sad faces

It Ain't Easy being Me!:D:D:D

It tells me they are following city policies, crossing Ts and dotting Is in case they determine they need to fire her.

Best not to break rules when disciplining a city employee that is an attorney. Paid leave prior to termination is very common.

My guess is if case gets dropped, she keeps her job.

Probably Hard to Prove anything but maybe other Hunters can go look at the other Goodies & Claim them & Say:Ya,that's the item somebody Stole From me,I Know,Hard to Prove when it's been sittin in their Yard/Yards for Who knows how long?

That Trail Cam YOUTUBE Clip that was YANKED makes you Wonder doesn't it?

I'm not predicting the case gets dropped. I'm just saying if it does, she'll keep her job. Tough to fire her now, then if the case gets dropped, re-hire her.

It appears the city is taking a ?wait and see? approach, and paid leave is the only way to really do that. And that is pretty common.

I'm with nilla cat, they're followin procedure, coverin their arses. Shes toast in the end.
