Can’t believe it took them 7 years. Isn’t there a statute of limitations. Maybe if they did something 5 years ago those last 5 years of poached animals would have been out there for hunters.

The news release indicates the animals that were poached were all killed prior to seven years ago when the first citation was issued and the investigations began.

As the investigations progressed there were so many poaching incidents discovered that it took a few years to sort them all out and get the evidence needed to prosecute.

Much more to this case than what is mentioned in the news release.
