Tiburon Desert Sheep Tag

The Washington Chapter of the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep (WAFNAWS) is excited to announce a tag to hunt the famed Tiburon Island for Desert Bighorn Sheep. Rams from Tiburon Island have dominated the ram awards at FNAWS since hunting began in 2000. The tag will be auctioned at the WAFNAWS banquet "Seattle Sportsmens Convention" on February 5th, 2005. In addition to this fantastic tag, we will also have the following tags:

1. Washington State Governor's Mountain goat tag
2. Washington State Governor's Eastside elk tag (last year's tag holder took a 402+ SCI Bull)
3. Washington State Governor's Eastside deer tag (Sept. 1- Dec. 31 season)

To close the loop, the Tiburon tag sold at the Washington Chapter FNAWS function for $81,000. The same type tag also sold at the California Chapter FNAWS function on the same night, and it also went for $81,000.
