Traditions NitroFire info

Good morning. I have a friend who has a NIB Traditions NitroFire 50 cal ML that he offered to sell to me. Any pros and cons you might want to share from your experiences would be appreciated. I am in NM. Thank you.

Have a Traditions Vortek, so that's what I'm familiar with. Overall, it's a comfortable gun to shoot.

Just ditch the scope if it has one and you plan to use it in NM...

Thank you RR.. No scope but I just wonder about it meeting the definition of a muzzleloader since its seems like it's almost like a shot gun.. Dont want to buy a gun I won't be able to use..

I wouldn't get it. It's purpose is not to be loaded from the muzzle. NMDGF defines a muzzleloader as something that loads the projectile from the muzzle, not the breech.
