I'm looking to buy a trail camera and have got a few questions. Probably stupid questions but... How come you don't see any trail camera pictures in the winter? And what are some good trail cameras?
thanks in advance.

Cold kills the batteries. I know some that keep them up almost year around.

Check out the Spypoint cameras, they are a great camera and work well in the cold. They are built in Canada and have been able to test them in extreme cold weather. They are compact and have excellent picture quality.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-29-10 AT 09:33PM (MST)[p]I like the bushnell tropy cam. They are a great camera and you can fit 3 to 1 of the other brands, in your pack.

None from Montana, because they are not legal during any hunting season. I'm told that basically they are only legal in July and the first 15 days in August.
