I'm a trapper and do everything I can to get away from people and pets. If someone is trapping along a well-used trail that is just stupid and asking for trouble the trapping folks don't need.

I don't know, it may be "legal" to trap there. But that doesn't make it smart to trap there.

Probably just some kid who got one from the local hardware store. As a kid I probably would have done the same thing but I lived close enough to the mountain so I went there.
