So I drew turkey in GMU 8, and I’ve had a few fun days up there. I’m using my long bow instead of my compound bow. I’ve had several encounters and failures. If I had the compound I would’ve already had at least one bird in the bag assuming it would have connected. This is the best hunt to kill 2 birds l, and also to have tons of encounters to learn from. I’m on the fence about pulling out the compound and getting it done, but I’m also having a lot of fun failing/learning. What do you guys think?
