Turkey in Unit 33

I was reading the proposed changes for the 2009 2010 hunting season and it mentioned that they were going to add turkey hunting in 33 and a couple other units. Has anyone ever seen turkeys in unit 33? I thought 33 was mostly desert. Maybe there are some transplanted rio's.

I think you're right. There have never been turkeys in there and it is ALL desert. The game department released them in there a few years back and they seem to be doing good.
