Looks like they are running this draw like they use to run the swan draw, before they charged permit fees for them. If you go to you login where you can see your points, click on the permit button. If you drew, it’ll say 2024 Turkey status:unprinted. They updated that today.

I can buy 2 turkey tags a year here right out my back door. One spring and one fall.

It’s not that big a deal if you don’t draw out. Over the counter tags are good, so it’s not that big a deal.

Drew a turkey tag for Utah this year. I have shot many turkeys to date all around the SW. Drawing a turkey tag doesn’t make me feel like I have anything special. Just an excuse to take a week off work and enjoy the spring!

My wife drew a tag last year. 7 points. Hunted 10 minutes. 5 minutes of that was switching back and forth between which one to shoot that was clear of the other 30 birds around it. Incredible hunt.

I drew one a couple years ago like you five minutes I was not impressed when we cooked it.

My grandson raises turkeys so I think I'll give him $100 for one and shoot it. I'll have to shoot it before it walks up to me too close!!!(yes, white and it'll be about 30 lbs)
This should save about $300 on fuel.
