Turkeys Pausaugunt

Just trying to see if anyone can lead us to a general area for turkeys seen this year in the Southern unit of Utah. My boy who is 15 has a tag and we have not been able to get out this year. We are both OK with tag soup and just would like to get some feed back on general area of turkeys seen this year. We only have Sat. from 1pm to dark to hunt and we are done. We are Ok with a good hike or two and seeing some animals or wild life coming up with zilcho is OK. Just would not mind hearing a gobble or hen cluck for him. We might have to go to the turkey farms for the experience of a gobble or hen cluck!

When we had the tags a few years ago for down there, we hunted around Scutumpah and around the Glendale Bench area and east. Around Scutumpah, we hunted a few of the roads that went north around some of the ranches and canyons. We also alot on Private in Johnson Canyon, so maybe hit Nephi Pasture or the other side of the road and ride/hike above the farms in Johnson canyon. Good luck.
