Why worry about gettin on the mtn?? Most of the mtn bear are denning down in the sand and ledges. Its always slow till mid may even on the dry yrs. Last yr. my wife got her tag from someone turning back theirs and we got hers on mothers day. It was only the 3rd bear treed in 2 weekends. Thats just normal for utah spring bear hunting.
