The purpose of this action item is to propose modifications to the current fee schedule. The division will propose two new opportunities that require fees to be created and two minor changes to existing fees
.
The division will propose establishing new fees for 2 cow elk permits, and Rocky Mountain and Desert Bighorn Ewes.

They propose to have 10 resident tags and 1 nonressy. They dont have a break out as to how many per species.... Thoughts? Do we need Ewe tags, or can they be transplanted to help with population genetics?

The problem right now is the pneumonia. There is a lot of it in the west, and most are afraid to transplant sheep right now. Nevada started a ewe hunt this fall, because the herds that the hunts are in are in near proximity to areas that have or have had an outbreak, or there just aren't many places that transplanting the sheep would help improve genetics. I like the idea.
