Green score 28 4/16" skull
5 miles from camp, yes that was a very long pack.
Once in a lifetime, without a guide, as an AK Resident.

The actual stalk was non-climatic. See bear, chase bear 3 miles and shoot the darn thing.
But the real story was entire hunt, which you'll probably read in some magazine one of these days..........

Wow! Congratulations!

The closest I've come to killing a brown bear was when I handloaded the reloads for my cousin to hunt his bear on Unimak.
