Unit 120 Deer

How much public land is available in this unit, it appears that the majority of this unit is part of the Wind River Indian Reservation, is that correct?? Any info would be appreciated.

There is some public, but also a lot of private. It does also encompass the reservation which you cannot hunt. Majority of the deer will be found on private, but a person can still find some decent hunting on the public ground. If you have the type 3 tag for white-tail only they are almost exclusively found on private. Also very few of the land owners grant permission, though some will but may charge to. I drew the 120 type 1 this year and have never hunted it before but I know the area well, hopefully I can find a good buck as well! Good luck to you.
