Unit 140-Mule Deer quality

Any info on this unti as far as trophy potential and terrain would be appreciated. New place for me and might give it a try. Have the fires affected this area? Thanks in advance for your opionions.

All of Lake Dorothy and half of James John burned last year. I don't know how much of the area if any has recovered enough to hold good numbers of deer. If your on private land to the west and north you should be in for a good hunt. The Crazy French does pretty well for deer. I would say 170 is a top end deer in that unit. 85 to the west is kicking out some smokers. It's a drought year though. Best of luck.
