unit 141 or Region H?

With this years Elk hunt in Wyoming over I turned my thoughts to what I should do with my accumulated 3 points for deer. I'd like to get some thoughts from folks who have hunted unit 141 and/or 162 as to whether it is worth the points and weather gamble.

I've been in an adjacent unit for the past 5 years and I haven't seen any real jawdroppers while hunting Elk the past 3 years. Don't get me wrong, deer have been plentiful, just the bucks weren't wallhangers.

SO should I try to get the 141 tag and hope for weather late, or just sift through the deer in country I know?

I certainly would not burn 3 pts on 'H' as it is do-able with 1 pt 'cheapie' fee.

3 pts ---- with max being 5 pts.....tough call on what to do.

Dido. 3 points kind of puts you in no mans land, unless you are really lucky with the draws, which is never my case!!!
