Unit 23 late buck tag

I was fortunate enough to draw this tag, I know this area fairly well and have seen some good bucks come out of the area. I've only hunted it a handful of times and was lookin to pick some brains of those who have hunted this area on the late tag. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

The last good buck we shot in there was 98. I was in there 2 years ago and saw a good number of deer. Wish you the best and hope to see some pictures.

Live2farm- did you hunt the tag into November? What areas were you concentrating on? I know it's a pretty big unit with so much good country it'd be hard to pin down a good area to concentrate your efforts. Did you have trouble with the weather or the fact that there is a general rifle tag going on at the same time at the beginning?

DZ- the same questions, which parts did you focus on and did you happen to hunt later in November?

I personally know the guy that took this buck out of 23 last year on the general tag, according to him they ended up taking this buck instead of the bruiser that kept eluding them.
