unit 27

Im looking to buy a late season archery deer tag in January for unit 27. I am wondering what kinda of quality deer i might be able to find for mule deer. I would really like to harvest a cues deer but i hear they are rear on that unit. anybody has any advise it would be greatly appreciated.

I hunted elk in Sept there 2 years ago and scouted in August. I was on the northern 1/3 of the unit and didn't see many deer at all. Elk were behind every other bush. More sheep than deer. The unit is huge though and I'm sure there are deer somewhere on the unit. The north and south are pretty different terrain types.
