Unit 56 cow elk rifle hunt. Rockland valley, highway 37

I am looking for some ideas of where the elk like to hang out. I have hunted this area for deer several times and ran into elk but not really intentionally. I have hunted both ends of valley Bull canyon all the way to Dairy canyon and seen them in both. Just asking opinions, no matter what I will go out and do my best and have fun at the same time. Thanks.

Unless there is different Bull Canyon in 56 I'm pretty sure it's in 73A.
What are dates for that hunt?
