unit 61 moose

Does anyone have ideas on where to find a moose in 61? A old friend who is a senior,never hunted moose before ,drew a tag . Iwould really like him to get a bull... any ideas. thank you J

Just drive the dirt roads, you'll see them. It's a great unit for moose, don't shoot the first one you see unless it's a big one!

driving the roads can find big moose,I saw a real big bull up near keg springs a couple of years ago, but that might take some hiking.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-19-08 AT 12:57PM (MST)[p]dont be in a hurry, it will get better the later into the hunt you get. a friend of mine had that tag a couple of years ago. he was told the same thing, and it paid off. he got his the last week and saw a lot of bulls that day. good luck!!
