Unit 7 trespass fee

This old man is looking to burn his 12 elk points in 2020 and get out of the points game. Unit 7 is one of the units I am considering. Anyone on here have experience either paying a trespass fee to access public land or paying a trespass fee to hunt private land in Unit 7? PM if you prefer. Thanks in advance.

As you are likely finding out trespass fee hunts are super tough to find...especially in premier hunting units where guided bull hunts are sold for big $! Outfitters knock on doors and generally have the best ranches leased out. The same thing is true in Colorado and elsewhere. If you look at it from a landowner prospective...it's tough finding quality hunters that are willing to close gates, not litter, shoot around cattle, etc! Usually 1 or 2 bad apples spoil it for everyone. If you can find a reputable ranch with great elk hunting that allows a trespass fee hunt you have found a goldmine....there are likely only a handful in the entire state of Wyo!

I figured finding a ranch to hunt would be tough but was hoping to find someone that bordered some tough to get to public land and pay them to go through their land.
