MZ season has made it alot harder this week. Animals
moving around much more and more shy. Last night about
700 came out. Snow was moving in from the west and just
when they started coming out it started snowing. Took a
few pics before I had to put cameras away. Best bugling
in many years. They started at 3pm and by 4 hundreds of
bugles were coming out of the timber. At 5 they started
coming out and was getting 100-200 bugles per minute at
its peak. Some bulls were bugling nonstop for hours.
Sometimes 30 bulls were bugling at the same sec. What
you see is when the first few came out and then it snowed.
Little below 12000 and 2in up higher. This morning
again got pinned down and only this little bull. Rut
still not peaked, no mounting of cows but seeing large
aggression among bulls.
