Unit 89 Archery Mule Deer

I drew a unit 89 mule deer tag this year. I plan on archery hunting it. I was curious if anyone who had hunted deer in this unit could give me a few pointers. Thanks

Be sure and hit it HARD during archery as Oct. 1st it will have an Army of elk hunters out there. You can hunt any of the legally accessible public lands within the HMA but realize the HMA doesn’t allow deer hunting. There are a few of the Walk in Areas that allow deer hunting. Be sure and have Onx maps or similar and study the areas. Don’t overlook those 1 or 2 section public land areas as some of them are honey holes. You will have a great hunt and the last week of the rifle hunt they start rutting in that area if it’s cold.
