Units 131/231 Muzzleloader Deer

Success will depend on the hunter and how much preseason scouting you can do. There are some good deer in 231 in the high country. With the early rifle hunt being before the muzzle hunt it really stinks because the rifle hunters drive all the bucks into the trees making it harder to glass one up. It is still a good hunt. Its a great hunt with a left over tag.

if 231 is the devils causeway wich I think it is then that area will have a lot of hikers in it proabably.

I have elk hunted the area a few times and did not see to many other hunters and no hikers.
