Units 33&34

Just looking over the leftover list and those seem to be the only ones close that might be worth tryin. I just dont know any info on the units and was wondering public vs private or if it is even worth it. Any info would be great, thanks. There are tags for 33 2nd rifle and 34 2nd and 3rd.

Are you talking deer tags? 2nd and 3rd rifle elk should be over the counter in 33.

I've hunted 33 for elk a couple times, last time I was there didn't see many deer, saw lots of elk though, there is a lot of public land.

There's a reason why there are left over tags. They're better than nothing though.

I hit two unexpected tags in NM, so I'll send my 34 3rd back for a refund as soon as I get it...Hopefully in time for someone else to take it.

Ya I think Im gonna pass on those tags and just get an extra bear tag if ones available for 2nd season and just look for one and a bull. I have 2 other 3rd season hunts to go with my bro and a friends wife so that should help my deer fix til next year.
