I just had contact with the support crew by way of radio. They met up with Rich and Burt at the intersection of Canada Highway 37 and 37A next to Meziadin Lake. The guys are in good spirits, are heavy into the mountains and have had a rough trip. They have had several encounters with bears, their hunting has been a lot more successful, the black flies are horrendous, and when the crew met up with them they were fishing. They have run into a lot of local "backwoods" people who have been absolutely tremendous. One of the mules died from colic last week. Rich said to tell everybody "hi" and they would be home in about 3 weeks. The support crew is going to start moving the trailers up to the ending sport which will be in Laketon, British Columbia. Rich and Burt want to keep going until Fall, but both have commitments back here, so they ill have to end the trip. Rich says that it is going to be a long time before he is able to sleep in a bed, or be inside a house! How do you "house break" an adult?
