Let me start by saing a very heartfelt thank you to each and every person who had thought or prayed for my son and my family through this time of need.
This last month has been trying for us all, our son was able to get off of the ventillator and breath on his own and has been doing so now for a couple of weeks. We had a appointment with a specialist to see if we can feed him from a bottle and eliminate his feeding tube, and they agreed at this time to let us do that. He is still taking meds to control some mild seizure activity that his brain scan showed, but so far he has not had any major episodes.
Our son is a complete miracle to us and everyone who seen what he has gone through. From almost death to being home now, I count every blessing and day that I have.
As of right now, Kyle is doing everything a baby should do and doesn't show any outward signs of brain damage that the doctors had said. They are real pleased with how he is progressing as we are also. By all outward appearances, he is a normal baby boy.
We are going to take it one day at a time and watch him amaze us all.............
Thank You everyone, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
