Use your safety gear

Hello and happy holidays all you archers. Please use safety harnesses and straps when hunting from tree stands. A friend took a fall last week and broke his wrist, collapsed a lung, lacerated a kidney and basically F@#$%d himself up. And I think he got off very very lucky since he fell about 20 feet. He very easily could have died.

I could not agree more. A very good friend of mine had his son fall out of a stand this year and will suffer the results for many years to come. He is a tough kid and a great family. They will come out fine. He unhooked his harness for a brief moment to readjust and WHAM! Be safe and very careful out there!
