Using dogs to find an injured bear?

I have a friend who shot a bear from a treestand and is having a hard time finding it. There are several camps in the area with guys hunting with dogs.

Does anyone know if it's legal to have dogs help find an animal that's been hit by an arrow? He's sure it's dead in the area, but he can't find it.

Yep, but there are regulations involved. If I wasn't in Wyoming I would help you out. My wife is big into the Drahthaar scene, and has a dog that will blood track.

I know idaho just made it legal I think last year.
