Anyone ever hunted in this unit? Anyone know what the deer are like in this area?

I had the CWMU tag back in 05 and ended up getting a nice 6 point bull. The CWMU operator was nice to work with and a very nice guy. I wasn't focued on deer during my hunt so I can't give you any specific spot to go. I believe the largest buck off of there last year was a 33 inch 3 by 4. That buck is the exception. I would think a 4 point in the 24 to 26 inch range is a reasonable goal. We own some private property near there and the deer seem to have made it through the winter well. I am seeing several bucks in the 24-28 inch range and a bunch of what i would guess are first year 4 points

So most of the deer in here are average bucks, right?

Average at best, it gets over hunted! Such is the norm with this outfitter.
