Utah deer season still open?

Am I reading the Utah DNR web page correctly that the archery deer season is open through the end of October? I hunted the opening weekend and had a couple of shots but came home empty handed. I would like to take another shot at it and just want to make sure season is still open.

Extended archery is open until November 30th, antlerless only until December 15th in some extended areas. Check the big game handbook for details, page 28. It's still a little unclear from just reading the handbook, so I suggest calling the DWR office and asking them for details.

I called the DWR and the answer I got is that there are three extended units still open. Wasatch, Uintah and Ogden, one is open til end of November and other two till end of December. Looked them up on line and that is way too far of a drive from the Phoenix area. I have been going up for several years and hunting the Monticello area and this is the first time I havent tagged out, guess I should have just got er done the first time.
