OK here are mine.
First archery deer way back 2002.

2009

2016 Don't lie, the double Rainbow is pretty sweet. Lol

2017 I'm a sucker for the freaks, but I kinda wish I would have let him live another year

2018 192 gross

2020 extended archery deer 160 gross

2021 pretty sure this buck is the son of the 2018 buck, probably should have gave him another year too, but had to make a quick decision to shoot, and he looked pretty good running full bore through the trees from the side. 170 gross

2022 LE late muzzleloader tag, but it is a general unit so I'm counting it.

I've got a few more that I don't have pictures of, but nothing to big.

I don't have any great pics of some of the bucks I killed but my son's first deer. It's also my avatar picture. His side maybe broke when it first started growing not really sure. 2nd to last day of the rifle general hunt.

I love general hunts. There is no pressure and a great time with friends and family. I was lucky to find this one. Last day, last light found him bedded 350 yards watching over a herd of does. Didn't know what he was, but knew he had a good frame. 32" wide

Here's a few from the last 10 or so years.

This was on my son's birthday and his first time out hunting in the back country with me.. I let him pick out the buck we would shoot that day, even it was a forky. He made a good choice.

I killed this buck with my muzzy the following year.

Then killed my biggest buck to date two years later. 37" wide. Scored 209.

Killed this buck a year later with my muzzy. It's was 100 yards from were I shot my biggest buck the year before.

All the buck in my post are public land bucks, no giants but it has been fun and tons of good memories.

I am pretty sure all of Ridges bucks are from public land as well but he can speak to that.

There is still some good hunting on public land with general tags around but expectations need to be realistic. I look for a 3+ year old buck and normally I do not pass one up when I find it. I am not to concerned with what it is going to score if it gets me excited, it is a shooter to me. Sometimes the situation is why I pull the trigger more than the antler size.
