Check ou this velvet I found on lake shore. It was about ten feet from water. Did not look disturbed at all. My guess is that buck went swimming and then shook his head on the shore and everything came off? No trees or bushes within 100 or more yards. Numerous dog tracks around but maybe none since the velvet was sloughed off. .. Looks like it had a pretty good number of points. Wish I would have spread it out to see how big he is. Was dry but not brittle. Interesting find.
