I've been very curious as to how I might like a higher power binocular, so when Vortex offered to send me a set of the Vulture HD 15x56's to try out, I was all for it.
I got them a week or so ago and have used them just a little this past weekend. It's too early to say if they'd work for my style of hunting. I'll be taking them out atleast another time or two before shipping them back. I'll keep you all posted.
I do believe I'm going to need to use a tripod, or be sitting with my elbows on my knees for most of my glassing with these bino's, as they weigh in at about 43.6 ounces. An expected weigh for such an optic.
They retail for $500 - $600, so they're not a super highend optic, but may be great for those with a limited budget.
If you have experience with these optics, please share your thoughts. I'll update as soon as I can.
