Do you use wads between your powder and conical bullets,I have heard good and bad, mostly good,Whats your thoughts on this,Do you use the pre-lubed or not?Just curious on your way of doing things,,

Use as needed!!

I always used lubed 1/8" OxYoke wads! If your shot groups are not satisfactory & wonderwads improves the shot groups - then why not use them?

I have a sidelock that I use wonderwads with. My No Excuse conicals have a flat base & many times flat bases require a wad. I have an inline that uses them between the plastic sabot and powder.

So many shooters have a stockpile of bullets that they call a waste of money spent - bullets that performed poorly - but are hanging around the house waiting for another ML to try them in. Well, alot of those bullets can be salvaged by putting a wad between the bullet and powder.... occasionally two wads.

Lastly, 50-cal MLs should use 54-cal wads for a better, tighter fit.
