Walter's 2011 Bull

LAST EDITED ON Oct-21-11 AT 03:41PM (MST)[p]Opening day while on two weeks leave from the USAF my son Walter took this 6x6 herd bull after passing three 5x5 bulls, a half dozen rag horns and too many spikes to count in a herd of about 126 Elk. Guiding for my sons has become most rewarding part of big game hunting.

Very nice! What unit if you don't mind me asking? Wish the elk were herded up that large round here.

We got him in unit 28.
The next day I guided for another hunter and he took a spike bull.
