Rushidie wrote a book and they wanted to kill him because of it. How ? behead him, blow him up, hang him ? Now they say it hurts the sentiments of 1.5 billion muslums and justifies suicide attacks. They got their feelings hurt over a book and wanted death. After reading that you can surely tell they have caught on to Britsh and American political correctness.... Give him knighthood and make him an honorary American !

It wasn't a very good book IMO I never could understand all the drama over it and really couldn't figure out how it dishonored the prophet. I think in this case the Islamic leaders are looking for media coverage and the fight they seem to want with Britain and the U.S.
