lucky to draw a wasatch bull tag,any information on where to start looking or a great area to start would be helpful.thanks for any help...
The Wasatch is a great unit.......there may not be a 400 class bull in every canyon, but there are elk in almost in every one! Get out a map and check the areas around Strawberry, Currant Creek, Hobble Creek, Alpine Loop, Timp............That is a good tag, get out and have FUN!

South of Strawberry, French Hollow is a good spot to start with then hit the scouting and follow the herd from there. Should be a good hunt. Hunted the early rifle last year and it was awesome but it was a tough year. I tried to get up on Sheep Creek 2 weeks ago and the middle gate was still closed so some of those areas could have deep snow till July.
