According to the department they are faring pretty well. One thing that has been helping is the snow has not crusted over and they are able to get to the feed. If we have a crust or a hard freeze then there will be problems. One other thing to remember is the snow came late and there was a early rain ( october if I recall) that greened up alot of the area. So hopefully we will come out in decent shape. Looks as if the survival rate has been pretty good. According to post hunt surveys that were done in Jan.
