Watch or attend today's Utah Wildlife Board meeting

The Utah Wildlife Board is meeting today at 9 a.m., and there's a mix of items on the agenda, including proposed fee changes. Here's the feedback that board members have received from the public prior to the meeting.

The $10 spot and stalk cougar tag is a Great idea. Hopefully it will pass in the legislative session.

Agreed. I just purchased the $30 tag since I'm hunting in an area that recently had a hunter that was followed by a cougar for over a mile. Was on the news and everything. Now I'm hoping a cougar pops out around every corner lol

Just started watching this and I'm already shaking my head. Wade H was the cry baby that got the whole "we're going to look at technology " ball rolling and now he has the balls to say we don't want to go too far and we need to hold up.
I guess he realized his high paying clients are the one that are going to be affected.

It really does deserve looking at. But the knee jerk reaction from both sides in other discussions seems to indicate it is not going to be an easy road to navigate.

I'm still trying to understand why the whole thing has become such a flash point. But making rules without good justification seem to me a receipt for disaster.
