i think that he accidently shot a trophy buck when he was only cleared for an 8 point or management buck. That's why they were saying that he was in big trouble. The owver of the ranch probably kicked his butt!

Its not $68,000, it starts off with a $3500 base and goes up from there. A 170" deer would cost $7000 or more. The way they describe it makes it a little difficult to understand.
