------------------------------------------------------
By the way,
I live in UT.
There are a lot of UTARDS that live here.
I have also seen quite a few WYOMORONS, NEVADUHNS, COLORADORKS, ID-IOTS and AIRHEADZONANS in my travels.
Where do you think the first shot hit him? Maybe shot him a little far back? From what I've heard if you hit an animal in the guts, he'll kick like a mule.
Before reading your post that he got up and got away, I thought it was a classic heart shot. A deer that is heart shot will often jump or flip like yours did. After watching the clip several times, it looks like you may have hit him in the brisket, or high in the front leg?
The shot was not in the guts I feel like it went behind the right shoulder and out the briskit but I was told by the other hunters brother that skinned it that it was in and out the briskit but the angle is wrong for that. I think the bullet went behind the shoulder in that socket area that you can take the front leg off without cutting any bones just a classic GOOD BAD SHOT Wrong angle
UThunting you said ?I think the bullet went behind the shoulder in that socket area that you can take the front leg off without cutting any bones just a classic GOOD BAD SHOT Wrong angle?
Not trying to be a smart you know what, but what are you trying to say here? Your wife shot it between the shoulder and the brisket and didnt take out any vitals or did she shoot it through the brisket but didn't take out the lungs?
I still can't believe the deer got up and someone else shot it. The shot looked great from the video clip. Did she shoot it with a small caliber rifle?
So did you guys end up with a better deer?
I hope I never have to follow a buck I have shot to another hunter gutting it out I bet it makes you sick.
Here is the exit wound I was told by the other hunter that the bullet intered and exited the briskit but the angle was wrong to do that anyway the other hunter put the smack down on him and was able to tag him
